Boards are moderately rubbed and frayed at corners, especially bottom corners where there is some separation of cloth from board. Head & foot of spine are heavily rubbed with head having a small piece missing. Back board has several moderate stains. Library discard stamp and book store stamp on ffep, but no usual library markings in remainder of book. Binding is tight. Page edges are yellowed with age and a couple of minor soiling spots. Top page edge is gilted and the end pages are decorative. Ffep is creased at gutter from bending over front board.
