Very good condition with mild wear including some areas of small staining to the front board and some light rubbing to the rear board. The inside pages are clean and un-marked. The slipcase is in good condition with several areas of staining, some scuffing, and rubbing to the corners (especially to the lower front corner). This book is a facsimile reproduction of the original version which was printed in 1877. It contains many recipes as well as many household hints and advice. “Buckeye Cookery and Practical Housekeeping tells a story of its own as it advises the housewife not only on how to prepare a great variety of goods but also how to decorate her home, care for her children, minister to the ill, and entertain graciously.” – From the New Introduction, 1970
